Stores in Latin America

Stores in Latin America are different than in the United States. In the U.S. stores usually sell a certain item or items that go together. Well in Latin America that doesn’t matter. Stores just sell whatever they want. They sell motorcycles, refrigerators, computers, televisions and all sorts of other items. In the U.S. if you wanted to buy a motorcycle you would go to a store that specifically sells motorcycles. Or if you wanted a computer you would go to a Best Buy or an Apple store. Well whether you want to buy a motorcycle, tv or refrigerator one store will have it all. It is a very interesting way people sell things in Ecuador.

  1. I guess your shopping experience in Latin America is kinda like shopping at Costco. You can buy computers, refrigerators, rugs, office supplies and even food. Perhaps in the States, we are just catching up with Latin America’s ways of shopping.
